Candles, Coffee & Creativity – A Day in Our Studio

Running a handmade business as a mother–daughter team means no two days are ever quite the same—but every Monday, we kick things off with a little ritual we’ve come to love: coffee and planning at 9am sharp.

It’s our dedicated meeting time, where we sit down (coffee in hand, of course) and talk through the week ahead. From checking orders to brainstorming new scent blends, no idea is too small (or too wild!) for the table.

These meetings have turned into a three coffee meeting at times as we bounce new ideas around and that's ok. We enjoy each others company.

Every Monday, we map out our social media schedule and now, our brand-new blog. This week, we decided that Thursdays will be our official blog update day—so stay tuned for regular behind-the-scenes stories, product launches, and maybe even a DIY or two.

Mum (or as some of you have come to know her, Kerry) takes the lead on the website—updating listings, prepping new scent ranges, and getting things ready for upcoming product launches.

She also checks for orders and works out our packing list, making sure we know exactly who’s getting what and when.

Then we head into the studio...at the moment it smells like green tea and lemongrass )hint there is a launch coming soon).

And This Why We Love It

Being able to work side-by-side, doing something we both love, is something we never take for granted. It’s not just about the products—it’s about creating a space that reflects who we are, and sharing that with you.

From our Monday morning plans to the final product on your shelf, every part of this process is done with love, care, and a whole lot of creativity.

Thanks for being part of our journey. We can't wait to share more behind-the-scenes moments with you!

The Candle’s Out, But the Magic Continues

That’s why, right from the beginning of our candle-making journey, we carefully considered how our vessels could be reused — even after the final flicker of the flame. Every jar, pot, and holder we create has been tested with reuse in mind, so once your candle has burned through, it’s just the start of a new story. Here are our top 5 reuses This dolphin pot was the perfect size for my claw clips - keeps them together and tidy I found the wild horses pot perfect for my hair ties. It stopped them getting caught in my claw clips and was the perfect size. And the cotton buds? They’ve found a new home in our little sailboat pot. It's such a joy seeing these vessels continue to be part of everyday life, long after the candle has burned down. Instead of having an untidy bathroom, everything now has its place — and it all looks so pretty! Our reused candle pots have helped create a space that’s not only mo...
